Propaganda is a form of manipulation that gives out information to influence the public's opinion about matters. Some of those information might not be true, but with different techniques applied propagandists can turn black to white, and vice versa. The most used propaganda techniques used in both the Russian Revolution and Animal Farm are Card Stacking and Glittering Generalities.
Card Stacking is presented when Squealer tells of how the food is enough for every animal of the farm but the truth is they are scarce and they are claiming a large portion of the food for themselves.
Glittering Generalities is used during the time where emotional and noble words were used to describe Napoleon and his actions. The emotions included in the words itself relates to the person and will be viewed with the same feelings felt from the words.
